Dr. Sanjay Sharma and Edith Leung, PFP
Dr. Sanjay Sharma is a retina specialist and professor of Ophthalmology at Queen’s University. He is a serial entrepreneur who created numerous platforms including MEDSKL which reaches medical students from over 400 Universities and Optocase which reaches over 21,000 eye doctors. Dr. Sharma has received numerous prestigious national awards including those from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation, the Association of Medical Faculties of Canada and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Sharma, who learned his financial lessons from the school of Hard Knocks starting as a 12 year old ice cream mogul, completed his medical education at Harvard University.
Edith Leung started her career in banking in 2006 at ATB Financial in Calgary where she worked in various roles, with the 4 of 7 years in the investment industry. She moved to Vancouver in 2013 where she worked at various financial institutions and wealth management firms until working as a Financial Planner at RBC in 2016. Edith has been specializing in planning for health professionals since 2018 and refers to herself as ‘the GP for GPs’. Her passion is working with her clients to identify their priorities and providing a roadmap to achieve multiple goals throughout their lifetime. Outside of work, Edith is a crazy dog mom of a 3.5 year old rescue and her ‘retirement plan’ is to become an owner of a doggy daycare where she can be surrounded by dogs all day long. She also loves exploring new restaurants and loves documenting her foodie experiences.

Graham Skelhorne-Gross is a trauma and surgical critical care fellow at the University of Washington. His clinical and research interests include trauma, emergency general surgery and surgical critical care. He attended Queen’s University for medical school and also completed his PhD in Pathology and Molecular Medicine.
He is currently pursuing fellowship in trauma surgery. He is heavily involved in teaching medical students and junior residents and has won teaching awards at Sunnybrook and St. Michael’s Hospitals.

Dr. Narvey was trained in Pediatrics and Neonatology at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. He has been the Program Director for the Neonatology Fellowship, and served for two years as the Medical Director for a level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. His interests predominantly lie in the use of non-invasive technology to minimize painful procedures during an infants stay in the NICU. He is active on social media, with over 680,000 followers on Tiktok (@nicu_musings), and over 111,000 followers on Instagram (@nicu_musings)

Amar hails from exotic Mississauga. He started his residency journey in Internal Medicine, but transferred into Emergency Medicine in his PGY2 after a change of heart, and completed his FRCPC EM residency at Queens University. He spent his final year in Boston to complete a Medical Simulation Fellowship at Harvard University - Massachusetts General Hospital, where the food was surprisingly suboptimal. Currently, he is an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Queens University and a Medical Toxicology fellow at Regions Health Partners and Hennepin County Medical Center/Minnesota Poison Control System, where the food is excellent.
