Featuring:  Mohamad Matout

Mohamad Matout is a resident physician at McGill University, in his fourth year of training as a psychiatrist. He is passionate about psychiatry and about bringing innovation to the field by exploring how emerging technologies can be applied to the treatment of mental illness. His research interest focus on the development of measures to assess the symptoms of mental disorders. He is also interested in identifying predictors of the course of mental disorders and response to treatment. Mohamad also enjoys teaching and sharing his passion for psychiatry. His approach to teaching medical students is centered on collaborative learning, and an appreciation for patients as people first.
